USRSA and various racquets and strings over the years has given
our staff a great deal of experience in racquet stringing, performance and
customization. We are USRSA-MRT certified which is the same
high standard used at all Professional and Grand Slam tournaments.
Who's Stringing Your Racquet???
USRSA Definitions:
Master Racquet Technician (MRT)
Only a few hundred of our racquet technicians are the cream of
the crop in racquet stringing, performance and retailing -- they're USRSA Master Racquet Technicians, or
MRTs. They work to fit you with the racquet, string, and tension that are
right for your game. They've passed a comprehensive test to prove they know
their stuff -- whether it's racquet customization (changing the weight and
balance of your frame with strategically applied lead tape), handle
build-ups, advice on racquet technology, or the perfect fit for you, your
racquet, and your string tension, MRTs have proven their expertise. And
they've maintained their MRT status by keeping their USRSA membership up to
date and by passing an annual test on manufacturers' technologies.

Today’s
Racquet Sports:
Tennis and all
Racquet Sports today has changed a great
deal and become even more complicated. With specific performance improvements
in today’s racquets and strings, selecting the right combination for your style
of play can be overwhelming.
Prevention:
With today’s high speed and physical games, avoiding injury
is a major concern. An understanding of racquet types, string performance and game
styles is of major importance in avoiding injury. Proper racquet, string
and equipment selection is critical.
Enjoyment:
Putting all of the factors together to get the most out of
your racquet sport is the key to enjoyment. We will work with you to find
that perfect combination of
those factors, to get the most out of your racquet selection.
Maintenance:
Like any piece of equipment, racquets require periodic
maintenance in order to perform consistently. We provide maintenance on all
brands of racquets per manufacturer and USRSA standards. We stand behind our
work and offer the highest level of service.
Repairs:
With the space age material used in today’s racquets, some
damage is not repairable. However with our experience, we can point you to the
best solution, by either making minor repairs ourselves or getting the
manufacturer to complete it, if possible.
