SHOES:

It's important to understand the shape of your feet when purchasing tennis shoes.

Poorly fitting shoes can limit movement or even cause injury.

Learn about your foot type before you pick out that specific make or model.

WARNING: DO NOT wear jogging shoes to play tennis, it can lead to severe injury.

Jogging shoes are not designed to support tennis movements!

Supinated Feet: have high arches and this foot type will show wear on the

outside of the heel and forefoot of their shoe, while the inner portions seem barely

worn.  The foot tends to be a wide forefoot that requires extra room in the toe box.

They also require a shoe with extra cushioning to compensate for their  high arches

and inflexible feet when hitting the ground (Duck-toed; high arches)

Pronated Feet: the opposite of supinated feet, a pronators shoe shows most

wear on the inside of the of the forefoot area.  Pronators tend to have flat feet  and

need a shoe with extra support on the medial (big toe) area to help keep their feet

from rolling inward (Pigeon-toed; flat feet)

Neutral Feet: the most efficient and biomechanically versatile foot type.  Players

with neutral feet can wear almost any shoe.

Stop in and give TennezCPS (Custom Personal Service) a try; see what you think.
